A Journey of Enlightenment

Guruji, revered as the "Divine Light," blessed humanity with his presence in his mortal form as Nirmal Singh Maharaj on July 7, 1954, in Dugri village, Malerkotla, Sangrur District, Punjab, India. Born into a humble family that had been blessed with saints and fakirs for generations, Guruji's birth was marked by miraculous signs. Mataji, his mother, was unaware that she would give birth to a mahapurush of such a high order. The midwife reported witnessing a bright light and a snake on the day Guruji was born, and the pandit who prepared his birth chart declared that this child belonged to the entire world, not just his family.

From a young age, Guruji displayed extraordinary spiritual abilities. His urine emitted a divine fragrance, and he was often found meditating in the fields, unaffected by the scorching sun or heavy rains. His parents soon realized that their son was no ordinary child but a divine being. Even his mother began to address him as 'Guruji,' a name that would become synonymous with divine guidance and blessings.

Guruji's Education and Spiritual Incidents

Guruji attended Dugri Primary School and Government High School before completing his double M.A. in English and Economics at Government College, Malerkotla. Despite his academic achievements, Guruji's spiritual prowess was evident. He would often ask others to spell words for him, although he was fluent in English and had beautiful handwriting.

Throughout his education, Guruji's spiritual inclinations became more apparent. He frequently visited the Dera of Sant Sewa Dasji, a high-order saint in Dugri, despite his family's disapproval. His classmates and friends witnessed miraculous events, such as Guruji filling empty inkpots with a mere touch and floating above water when pushed into a well. These incidents, among others, left his peers in awe of his supernatural abilities.

Guruji's Spiritual Journey and Miracles

In 1975, Guruji left his village and home to pursue his spiritual journey. He briefly worked for the Punjab School Education Board before dedicating himself fully to meditation and spiritual practice. By the age of eight, Guruji had gained complete control over his desires and began his mission to heal and bless those in need.

Guruji's father, initially skeptical of his son's divine powers, was eventually convinced of his son's extraordinary nature after witnessing Guruji with a lion in a locked room. Guruji was believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, and his divine fragrance, akin to heavenly roses, continues to be felt by his devotees long after his physical departure.

Guruji's Mandirs and Continued Blessings

Guruji's presence graced various locations, including Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Panchkula, and New Delhi. In the 1990s, he established the Shiv Mandir in Bhatti Mines, Chattarpur, known as Bada Mandir, where his samadhi is now located. Devotees continue to visit Bada Mandir to receive his countless blessings, as Guruji's grace remains active even today.

Guruji's blessings were often delivered through satsangs, where devotees experienced miraculous healings and life-altering events. His langar prasad, blessed food, was known to cure ailments and bring peace to those who partook in it. Guruji's legacy of divine love, healing, and protection continues to guide and bless those who seek his refuge.

Mahasamadhi and Eternal Connection

Guruji attained mahasamadhi on May 31, 2007, leaving no successor, as the "light divine" transcends mortal bounds. His emphasis was on a direct connection with him through prayers and meditation. Even after his physical departure, Guruji's presence is strongly felt by his devotees, who continue to experience his grace and blessings.

Guruji's legacy lives on through the Bada Mandir in South Delhi, where devotees gather to seek his divine guidance. His teachings, though subtle, continue to elevate and transform the lives of those who surrender to his will. Guruji's message is one of unconditional love, faith, and service, and his blessings extend beyond this life, guiding his devotees towards spiritual liberation.
